Why LPT

Why I joined LPT Realty

Sean Wilding · iCONN Team at LPT Realty · Connecticut

I get asked this almost every week, so here is the honest version. I am Sean Wilding, a working Realtor in Connecticut, and after years of watching my brokerage take a large cut of every commission, I moved to LPT Realty. Here is what actually made the difference, laid out plainly so you can judge it for yourself.

The revenue model: you keep more, and it can keep paying

Most brokerages only make sense when you are actively selling. The month you slow down, the income stops. LPT is built differently, and it starts with letting you pick how you pay.

The point is not that any one of these is magic. It is that together they turn a commission-only grind into a business with a few different ways to get paid.

The support and tools

A better split does not help if you are left on your own. LPT gives agents a real platform:

On top of that, I add something most sponsors do not: I help the agents who partner with me build their own online presence and content, using the same system that runs this site.

The growth story

LPT is one of the fastest-growing brokerages in the country. It reached well over ten thousand agents and expanded to more than 47 states in a short window. That growth matters for two reasons. It means the platform, tools, and support keep getting better, and it means the revenue share pool you can build on is expanding, not shrinking.

The culture

What sold me in the end was the "real estate first" mindset. A lot of cloud brokerages feel like the recruiting is the product and selling homes is an afterthought. LPT puts the business of selling real estate ahead of the hype. You get the upside of a modern, agent-friendly model without the circus.

Who this is for

If you are happy where you are, stay. But if monthly fees are eating your income, if your split caps your ceiling, or if you have ever wanted to build something that pays you beyond your next deal, it is worth a look. I am a working agent, not a professional recruiter, so you will get straight answers about whether it actually fits you.
